Level, firm ground

Tip 1 Grass, gravel, dirt, concrete or asphalt all work. Avoid slopes, which can tip the unit.

Clear about 5 × 5 feet

Tip 2 Our standard PolyJohn PJN3 is 43.5 in wide, 47 in deep and 91 in tall. Keep 3 feet clear in front of the door.

Backyard? Gate of 48 in or more

Tip 3 The crew needs a gate at least 48 inches wide and can cart an empty unit about 25 feet from the truck.

A 10–11 ft truck path

Tip 4 Keep the path clear of cars, and tell us about wires or branches lower than 12 feet.

Not on the sidewalk or street

Tip 5 Public right-of-way needs a city permit. Check HOA rules, then pick a spot on your own property.
